Synopsis

This is the stoey of the Rhodesian airborne attack on the Chimoio headquarters of ZANLA in Mozambique on 23 November 1977, two years before Zimbabwe regained its independence. The author was one of those young people who joined the struggle against colonialism and took up arms to liberate the country. He is Retired Brigadier General, Ambassador Agrippah Mutambara, whose Chimurenga name (war name or nom de guerre) was Dragon Patitipakashata.

Retired Brigadier General Agrippa Mutambara, a member of the Zimbabwe People First national executive, is a former war commander and ZANU PF member.
