Synopsis
Dew in the Morning tells the story of Godi Wamambo, a boy coming of age during the last twenty years of colonial rule in Zimbabwe. Godi's father has decided to move to a part of the country where land shortage has not yet become severe. When the Wamambo family arrives, farmland is plentiful, the forests are rich with wild fruits, and the neighbors in the village seem happy and welcoming. Soon, however, other families move into the area. Land becomes scarce.
